DECEMBER 2009
Kasey Rasmussen
George Alexander
Kasey is a beautiful Lab/Pit bull mix. She came to see us for on going skin problems. With the help of the doctors and staff, her skin is getting better everyday. Kasey is so well behaved and we all congratulate her for becoming Pet of the Month!
George is a handsome, 11 year old domestic long hair. He started feeling puny last month, so his humans brought him in for a full work up. When his blood work came back, we found that George had diabetes! With the help of Dr. Michelle, George's parents are working hard to get him regulated and he is doing fantastic today. Congratulations George!

NOVEMBER 2009
Molly Walling
Peaches Honaker
Molly is an 8 year old dapple Dachshund. She came to IVC in June of 2009 for her check-up because her new family had just rescued her. Dr. Bart examined her and found she was obese, had dental tarter, and needed to be spayed. He also found several lumps and bumps on her body that needed to be removed, so her humans scheduled her an appointment for a spay, dental, and multiple lumpectomies. The growths were sent out to the laboratory and all came back to be non-cancerous. She is doing GREAT now and couldn't have asked for a better mommy and daddy to rescue her. She's even reached her target weight of 15lbs! Way to go Molly!
Peaches is a breathtakingly beautiful flame point Himalayan. Every time she comes in to see us at IVC, she is so well behaved and sweet to all of the staff members. Peaches )and her owner!) has been a real trooper through all of her ear and upper respiratory infections and we congratulate her on being Pet of the Month!

OCTOBER 2009
Tiger Lilly Alexander
Dooley Gossage
Tiger Lilly is a 4 year old boxer mix. She became a patient at IVC in July 2005. Her extra "padding" gives us all more to love, but she just recently started our weight loss program and has lost 5 pounds so far! Tiger Lilly is an awesome little fur-baby and we just love it when she comes to visit. Congratulations Tiger Lilly, and good luck on your mission to a slender physique!
Dooley is one of 7 kittens we fostered here at IVC. In August of 2009, Dooley was not feeling like himself. We ran blood work and started him on fluids. A couple days later, he still wasn't the Dooley we know and love, so Dr. Michelle decided to do exploratory surgery. Sure enough, Dr. Michelle found the culprit - string in his intestines!! Thanks to Dr. Michelle and the IVC staff that took care of him while he was hospitalized, he is back to his old self again! Congrats Dooley!

SEPTEMBER 2009
Woody Herzog
Cheyanne Brooks
Woody is a beautiful Golden Retriever. He's been coming to see us his whole life. Recently, Woody was a very sick boy and we were very worried about him, but now he's never been better! Congratulations Woody!
Cheyanne is an adorable kitty. She came to see us when she was very tiny. Her adorable face and wonderful personality won our hearts. Hooray for Cheyanne!

AUGUST 2009
Oliver Folsom
Apollo Hallman
Oliver is a very affectionate kitten who loves to give kisses! He has a very unique look, and personality! He has beautiful markings, and loves his big brother Winston very much! During his stays at IVC you could always find him playing with the girls in the breakroom during their lunch hour! Congrats Oliver!
Apollo is a beautiful black and white Pitbull. His name definitely fits him well! He gave us quite a scare while under anesthesia, but he pulled through and is doing great now. Apollo is very special to us. We love you Apollo!

JULY 2009
Zeke Arnette
General Cooper Edmunds
Zeke is a very handsome German Shepherd pup. He is a very intelligent, well trained young lad. Zeke loves to go swimming! We feel very privileged to have watched him grow up! Congratulations Zeke!
General Cooper is a very happy, loving black and white kitty. He is diabetic and has to get daily insulin injections. He takes his injections very well and his mommy is very brave to give injections to her baby! Congratulations!!

JUNE 2009
Audrey Hendrix
Chester Fernandez
Audrey is an adorable lab mix who has been coming to see us since '05! She's so cute that she actually resembles a baby seal! She comes in monthly for a day of beauty! We all love her very much. Congratulations Miss Audrey!
Chester is still as adorable now as he was when he was a baby. His mommy rescued him as a kitten. She takes very special care of him. She came to our dental seminar, buys him special food, and meds than he has to be on. He and his mommy both deserve an award!

MAY 2009
Lucy Lu Hathaway
Cricket Breshears
Lucy Lu is a very curious kitty! She likes shiny, pretty things and actually swallowed a pebble! We had to go in and get it out of her tummy but she's doing great now....just keep her away from the shiny stuff! Congrats Lucy Lu!
Cricket is a very petite, girly little Boston Terrier. She has a wardrobe to fit a queen! She also loves to give kisses. We love you Cricket!

APRIL 2009
Nicholas Clark
Reggie Milner
Nicholas is a black and white kitty with beautiful facial markings. He's had teeth and tummy issues lately. But through it all he's still the sweetest boy! Congrats Nicholas!
Reggie is the sweetest little boy! His former owner had to sign him over to us because of financial problems. We all got very attached to him. He now has a wonderful new home, but we still get to see him quite often. Hooray for Reggie!

MARCH 2009
Abby Jones
Rajah Climer
Abby is a beautiful yellow lab. She had some dental issues and had to have 4 teeth pulled! She also had to have a benign mass removed from her leg. She was ouchy for a few days, but her mouth is much better now that the bad teeth are gone. Congrats Abby!
Rajah is an 11 year old Siamese mix. He had some serious urinary problems and had to have majoy surgery to correct these problems. He is doing wonderful now and is back to normal life on the farm! He deserves to be Pet of the Month!!!

FEBRUARY 2009
Oscar Hathaway
Sasha Anderson
Oscar is a handsome gray and white kitty. He was sick and had to stay with us for a while. He then had to undergo a majoy surgery. He is doing terrific now! Oscar touched our hearts during his stay and we congratulate him on becoming Pet of the Month!
Sasha is a very unique and beautiful puppy. She came to see us for her first puppy visit. She has a birth defect that is similar to a cleft palate which makes her look as if she has two noses! It gives her quite a lot of character. We think she's simply adorable! Congrats Sasha!

JANUARY 2009
Jake Hill
Buddy Farris
Jake came to us when he was just a baby. He had been bitten by a snake. Poor baby!!! He made it through that ordeal and now he's a happy, healthy boy. He certainly deserves to be Pet of the Month!
Buddy is a wonderful kitten who who was adopted by the Farris family. They just couldn't resist his cute face! When they got him, he was very sick and had food allergies. All the while, he was always purring and happy!! Congrats Buddy!
