Olive is one of the cutest pugs you will ever meet! She actually won the award for cutest pet at our Academy Awards Dinner last year. We love you Olive! |

Luda is a very handsome Pit Bull who's been coming to see us since he was a baby. Luda broke his leg while playing with his pals in his back yard. He has a cast on his leg now, but he's a tough guy, and no cast is going to slow him down! Congratulations Luda! |

Nittany is a cute little beagle who has been coming to see us for 8 years! She is always so happy to see us when she comes to visit. She had some back problems recently and was still in good spirits, even while she was in pain. We all congratulate Nittany for being chosen pet of the month. |

Roland is a 12 year old , beige, domestic medium hair kitty. He first came to see us Novemeber of 2005. Roland comes to visit fairly often with upset tummy issues. He was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease in March of 2008. \Roland was prescribed special food that is easy on his tummy and medications to make him feel better. He is doing well at home with his family and we all congratulate him for becoming pet of the month. |
Jumba is a 2 year old, black and white, Catahoula mix canine. He comes to see us often for his beauty day(bath). Jumba is very lovable and sweet to all the staff, and we all enjoy seeing jumba every couple weeks. He always goes home looking fabulous. The whole staff congratulates Jumba for becoming pet of the month. |

Sasha is a 1.5 year old, tan Boxer. She first came to see us at Independence Veterinary Clinic in March of 2008 Yearly vaccines and to have her eyes checked. She was diagnosed with double cherry eyes (the third eye-lid is prolapsed). Sasha had her eyes surgically repaired shorlty afterwards. She is a great patient and we all love her so much. We all congratulate her for being Pet of the Month. |
Marley is a 10 month old domestic long haired brown tabby. He came to see us in January 2008 for his kitten vaccines. Marley was so sweet the staff just fell in love. He also came in shortly after for a declaw. At that time, he got to stay with us for 2 days and was so spoiled, by the staff. Marley is a great patient and friend. Congratulations!! |

Sable is a 4-year-old, black and tan, female Rottweiler. She came to see us in November of 2007. Her owner had just adopted her on Halloween. Sable is a very lovable Rottie and all the girls adore her. She was recently diagnosed with mild renal failure. She is eating a special kidney diet to help her kidneys function better. We are all extremely happy to make her Pet of the Month. |
Jack is a 6 1/2 year old, male, gray and white, dometic short-hair tabby. He first visited Independence Veterinary Clinic in March of 2006. Jack is one of the sweetest kitty cats we have ever known. He loves to give us hugs and sit in our arms and purr. We recently had to take care of him for several days because he had FLUTD (Feline lower urinary tract disease) and could not urinate. All of the staff nursed him back to health and he is doing great. We applaud you for becoming Pet of the Month. |

Boots is a 4 1/2- year-old, black and gray maine coon. He has been coming to Independence Veterinary Clinic since June of 2005. At that time he was diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immundeficiency Virus). Boots has been doing well because of the love his owners give to him. We love it when he visits for his routine monthly pedicures with KIM (head nurse). We all hope to see Boots for many pedicures to come. Congratulations!!! |
Thumper was a 14 year old, black and tan Rottweiler. He was very sweet, and easy to work with. Thumper had been coming to see us at Independence Veterinary Clinic since he was a puppy, in 1994. He was an awesome, loyal friend and will miss him greatly. We all congratulate him for being pet of the month; it was long over due. |

Emma is a 6 month-old, gray domestic short-haired kitty. She first met the staff at Independence Veterinary Clinic in November of 2007. Emma was not feeling very well. She was lethargic, not eating, had ocular discharge and was sneezing. During her examination the doctors heard a heart murmur. Immediately, the doctors recommended an echocardiogram to be done by a specialist. Emma recently came to see us to get spayed and microchipped. She is doing great and has a wonderful life with her loving parents. Congratulations!!! |
Diva is a 4-year-old, black, 75 pound, Gaint Schnauzer. Diva is one of our most prized patients. She is always so happy to see us and will let us do anything necessary to her. Diva takes medication for hypothyroidism and incontinence. She recently came in because she has had lethargy, vomiting and diarrhea. We did some blood work and the results showed possible tickborne disease or autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA). Diva is slowly feeling better and getting back to her old self. We congratulate her for being pet of the month. |
